UAESP-JICA Project on Master Plan Study for Integrated Solid Waste Management in Bogota, D.C., Colombia

The Special Administrative Unit of Public Service of Bogota D.C. (UAESP), Colombia, has been working on a Project on Master Plan Study for Integrated Solid Waste Management in Bogota, D.C., with the support of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) for the period from March 2012 to November 2013. The project aims to formulate a Master Plan for sustainable and proper solid waste management in Bogota, and to enhance capacity in policy planning and implementation of solid waste management by means of utilization, monitoring and evaluation of the Master Plan.
